Yes, I looked at the writing work on mturk a few years ago, and the pay was just ridiculous. There were a couple of other websites that were worth working for at one time, but then there were mergers and take-overs and name changes, and the pay inevitably declined. I just stopped doing all that. It wasn't worth it.

 

I started off writing from Mturk actually, some dude wanted like $5 for 400 words and I took it, he invited me to write on his non Mturk platform, that went great for about 8 months, and then the second and third sentence.

Right now I am! I have a boss lady who pimps me out to publishing firms/clients/websites/etc for short term contracts. I used to do odd work for her when I was in college (thank you writing workshop teacher for introducing me to her!) and when I wasn't able to do grad school/med school because of my total BS health issues, she offered to throw 20ish hours of work my way each week so long as I signed my soul away to her in perpetuity (so a work contract lol). Right now I'm doing mainly copy editing at an hourly rate but in the fall I was doing mainly ghost writing for a client of hers who was having hella writers block. You guys may have heard that smoked paprika is hot this year I'm also doing some light re-writes for a noody novel as I call it right now. I probably spend 15 hours of the week editing and trying to make things readable and another 10 doing incredibly painful re-writes of what is seriously the worst erotic novel I've ever read in my life. It's a use for my english minor and I enjoy writing/creative things so I'm pretty happy I get to work in my home office most of the time.

 

how many tags on average are y'ALL putting on the conceptual batch? i know it depends on how much is in the mage but say there is a lot going on. I am trying to do between 3-5 tags
