    So does anyone know of a good alternative to skype for video stuff? I am going to be doing table top (and prob streamed to twitch although nobody will watch it) and a webcam feed for the players is going to be part of it.

    Open Broadcaster will almost definitely fit the bill. A myriad of options and ways to configure stuff and I believe you can stream with or without connecting it to a streaming service.
