That time of year? What is this bizarro world that you can't wear shorts and t-shirts all year round?

 

Living in a place where there are at least a few days every year when you could die from exposure keeps one on ones toes.

@ChrisTurk I felt like I was losing my mind last night, cause the football dill weed told me he only ever drafts a qb in the LAST ROUND, cause you can get a qb off the waiver wire ANY WEEK for 25+ points a game, so I'm stupid for ever drafting a qb round 3-4ish. I pointed out that an 8 man league is a good bit less competitive for qbs compared to bigger leagues, but still not true you can just pick any qb at random and get a butt load of points. He goes on to tell me why I'm so stupid. He even tells me that Brees is always consistently a top point scoring qb and I think he must have missed last season then? (and I love Breesus, but come on lol)

Le me looks at his qb scores for the season: he's had 2 weeks over 25 points and everything else has been under 20. He has won one single game. He then insists that Odell Beckham Jr was a fantastic first round pick on his part and I cracked, "Yeah...3 years ago dude." He then went on to tell me why my entire lineup was trash and why "defense and kickers don't even matter, so pick any team at random cause it's all the same."

I think my eyes rolled back so hard that I saw my own brain. Like, mannnn, I've hitched my wagon to some shitty draft picks before, but even I'm not sitting around calling myself the football expert while preaching absolute bullshit and insisting "girls don't really understand football," while getting just absolutely destroyed by said girl 3 weeks ago. I feel like I'm living in backwards land or something!
