So apparently not being able to just start dropping an extra 60 a month means that I'm a failure and I should get a real job. MiL going off again about how we're going to be poor the rest of our lives and a wanting a simple life and not caring about money makes us poor.

 

Have you considered spending all your money on drugs instead?

Not if you live with 20 people in your 1 bedroom house.

 

Fam. Fuck no. I pay 1500 a month for ALL of my bills including food in a 3 bedroom home on acreage. I also couldn't move because of all the firearms I have that are banned in Cali. Hell the case on the 1911 had a giant sticker we laugh at that says THIS FIREARM IS BANNED IN CALIFORNIA.

 

Oh god neighbors and people too. TOO MANY PEOPLE.

 

We're actually working on setting him up in my office! I've been talking to night nurses and care takers and in home hospice stuff for later to help me with him and we can set up a hospital bed and everyhing in here- the benefit of living in a house now, even if it's a cruddy rented one. I'm probably going to leave my job at this point to manage him, but that's fine. I don't mind taking him to appointments and such and giving up my office is a-ok cause he's family, and we're hoping he may be able to see first flight for strato, which he is SO EXCITED for.

He should be stable enough to travel in a week or two here, possibly sooner, and he's excited (as much as he gets excited) over the idea of hanging out with me and Bearn rather than being in a nursing home. We have the ability to make it work, so we will keep him with us as much as possible. I mean, he's a huge PITA (think Matt but about 100 times more intense lol) but that's what you do for family and I'm certainly not gonna let him be alone at this point in his life. Hopefully, he'll have some solid time before it gets worse.

 

Have you considered selling the guns to buy more avocados?
