Has anyone ever gotten tmobile to ship them a new simcard? I'm getting a new phone in a week or so and I would rather not go over to tmobile if I don't have to. My old phone (motog3) has a micro sim and the new shit uses nano sim. I'm aware that it is possible to cut that but getting down to nano is harder than the previous jumps.

oh, you can order tools to cut or even to make your SIM card bigger from Amazon.

 

Yeah I actually already own tools to make my sim card larger from a toolkit I have but I don't exactly want to cut one to nano size as that is a hard cut.

Thanks. The only time I've contacted customer service was back in May to report the fraud. And I've had the card for over 3 years.

Activating a tmobile sim outside of a tmobile store is generally a nightmare. If you can get tmobile to mail you one, there's a 99.9% chance it will be unactivated. If you're the 1:1,000, then you can transfer accounts over the internet, probably, and after 2 to 14 days your number and account will transfer to the new sim.

For all other cases, when you try to activate it you'll eventually get an angry and probably drunk woman working from home in Louisana who can't actually activate it, and who will send you to the store, where they'll just give you a new sim anyway.

If you're incredibly lucky, you'll get "Randy from Texas" who suspiciously sounds like Radhey from Bangalore, who will be able to potentially activate your sim, although here it's helpful if you know a little Kannada, as there's a 50/50 chance Randy's Hindi is about as good as your own.
