Nah I don't blame you. They used to be a lot better about paying out, I think they're moving away from mturk because it can't quite get them what they're looking for...mainly because their TO is rekt, their requirements are confusing at best, and their payments are slow as hell lol.

They're really hampered by their clients though. They don't make the surveys, they're hired (as best as I can tell) to get the surveys done by different customers, and they're given a stupidly cryptic "here's what we're looking for" document. I've seen them, they're dumb and confusing as hell.

I'm not sure what their best bet would be. I like them as people, but they either don't quite know what they're doing, or they're having trouble adapting a different workflow to the mturk standard workflow.

They tried to make a second mturk account to get away from the TO reviews but that didn't work out so well.

The issue is that most of the good workers have written them off a long time ago so they only get newbs and bad workers.
