main computer glitched this morning so i'm using today to experiment with whether i can turk on my emergency computer ie 'a raspberry pi hooked up to some cheap peripherals and an old tv'

this experiment is probably gonna take the form of 'put forth effort to get things working, blame the raspbian i installed for initial setup and never bothered replacing for anything which doesn't work, use that as an excuse to get around to flashing a different OS instead of rationally accepting i might have some hardware limitations'.

but hey turkerview works so it's at least partially successful.
