The high desert is weird, but it has its perks lol. It helps we're still 3000 feet up. Could do without the actual sand storms tho GAH!

 

See! I knew ghosts came out on Halloween!! Our office has motion sensor lights and as I was walking to my desk, another light came in inside my boss's office and no one was near the doorway. I quickly noped right on out of there and into the reception area and sat my desk with my legs tucked underneath me. No ghosts grabbing my feet today.

Oh goodness, no. I really do love that I was born and raised here. This state is unending-ly beautiful and entertaining. If I want to run away with the kid for a weekend I have more options than I can choose from. Since I live in the Central Valley I am, literally, 2-5 hours (five at the MOST) away from complete awesomeness.

I just sometimes tell people it sucks and don't move here as a joke. (Just come spend your tourist dollahs!)

I'm a born and raised New Yorker, so I'm genetically programmed to hate everywhere else, but I hate most of Cali much less than everywhere else.
