Well, I have been away for a long time and I'm not even sure if I remember the basics. But for some reason I decided to come back to turking (at least I'm gonna give it a shot). I just found about this place and I wanted to actually start writing something, because I feel like the first weeks I'm gonna be reading a lot around here to catch up with whatever happened in the last two years and I really didn't want to be a silent entity forever. So here we are. Wish me good luck. And if you have an opinion about what should be the first thing to consider, or what do you think was the main change in the last...lets say 15 month...feel free to let me know!
Hi! Scripts are a lot different now. I think everyone's using a combination of MTurk Suite and/or Hit Forker right now, along with some of the smaller ones that make life easier. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Welcome to turkerhub The main thing I can think of in the last 15 months was the death of www unless that happened before that. We are all on the worker website so lots of the old scripts for pandaing/scraping broke. These days the basic setup I suggest is hit forker + pandacrazy and I also suggest installing mturksuite for hit tracker and other QOL stuff that it has. Feel free to ask for help if you have any questions.
