11/13 - Too Late Tuesday!

So last year I got out Markus, our Elf on the Shelf.

The morning he appeared my son took me aside and said, "So, uh, Mom. You know that I know, right?"

He was 13. I wasn't going to break it to him. I let him just figure it out on his own. I would have continued to have Santa gifts show up for him until he was 50 years old if he never admitted to "knowing."

He kinda shot himself in the foot there, letting me know he knows. But my Christmas Wallet is much happier!

Not fast enough.

 

First time doing these and without my glasses with a dimmed computer screen so I won't wake my daughter up so I took my time to make sure I didn't fuck anything up.

 

I have all of my kid's saved. I plan on making one of those freaky ass tooth things and giving it to him as a gift some day just to gross him out.

I also have his original set of braces saved. His orthodontist gave them too me as a joke when I quipped they cost me the same as a small car. Maybe I'll put the braces on the teeth and give them back to him that way!!!

 

We never let Santa get all the credit one or two things from him the rest from us. I'm not spending all that money to make someone else look better than me.

Oh I realized early on the really good gifts came from me. Santa got some credit, but not for the really expensive stuff.

But now he gets half the stuff. So, his loss. My gain

 

buy him the whole therapist.
