I have a box of prized recipes that nobody is allowed to touch. They have my Nana's recipes, my Tita's recipes (that I went to PR for basically, lol), and a bunch of recipes I amassed traveling (europe and such) and learning them from people I met. I also have recipes from friends that I picked up from helping them cook (one my biscuit recipes is from my friend's grandma)- half the fun was learning new things from interesting people! I would never dream to demand someone's recipes without offering to help or recipe swap. I find it snotty, especially when you can google your own.
