I was just trying to do that math myself. I make pretty large amounts of food so Matt can have leftovers for lunch and most of the time I still don't get leftovers for myself because he's a hungry hungry Matthew. Most standard recipes are for 4-6 servings.

 

I got stood up again yesterday and realized its the 3rd time this chick does this to me, and the times I do see her she just hits me up for bars and is in a rush to get somewhere. fk me, man, i just noticed this like a year later.

I've been cooking since I was very young and since I was living alone for most of my 20's I learned pretty early on how to cook good food in a smaller quantity. Now I've gone full blown lazy though and the crockpot is out on the counter at least three times a week. I do get a lot of leftovers out of that thing.

 

yah, but a "serving" is for like a normal eating person. I can eat an entire box of rice a roni myself and still be hungry

Slow cooker ftw. I tend to do a lot of food and then transform it everyday so it's not boring.

I mean, she's not lazy, she's just banned from the kitchen because I'm the supreme overlord of the Kitchen Stadium.

 

Yeah, I get the joke but my cooking is rarely stuff like steak, chops and stuff... otherwise I could very easily get the portions right lol

It normally involves ground beef, chicken, or some other thing which creates very large amounts of food in the right "concoction" as people have referred to them before lol

Whenever my fiance goes food shopping, he comes home with a shitload of meat and junk food but no ingredients to cook with the meat...so, while I appreciate the effort, um, no.

Ha just did this. Threw a bunch of vaguely tex mex things in it on Sunday and had chicken soft tacos. Monday night they became delicious delicious nachos.
