You know everyone kept posting Thanksgiving things but I forgot when it was coming up so I asked the hubs. He looked at me like I'd lost my mind. The fucking thing is tomorrow! FUCKING TOMORROW. When did that happen!?

 

This year seems to have gone by very quickly. Wasn't Halloween like three days ago? I'm going back to my parents' house and just bringing some green bean casserole and cornbread casserole, so I don't really have that much work to do...just 9 hours of driving.

Someone forgot to turn the grow light on for me for a day

 

I was supposed to either host the orphans or go to Thailand (this is how thanksgiving is going down with our group lol)- after everything with the FIL, I feel like I time warped a month into the future. We made friendly excuses to everyone and decided to curl up at home alone.

 

Thanksgiving tacos.

 

We're doing non-traditional thanksgiving, WOOOOO. Turkey wontons for lunch with cranberry sauce, red wine tenderloin with creamy polenta and roasted sprouts for dinner, cannoli cream pastry cups for dessert.

I'm making plates for the loners, but they can take them and run, cause we're enjoying alone time.
