Companies using SageMaker (AWS's ML SaaS) can now just upload their dataset to be labeled directly to MTurk (or outsourced to two private third party companies for cheap). No need to learn the platform or mucking around with the API yadda yadda.. so basically, a new avenue of work being available to us.

Think stuff like CIs, twitter sentiment analysis, etc etc etc. All that kinda work. Right now they have image classification, bounding box, text sentiment classification, and segmentation (think really detailed bounding boxes where you outline the entire item) pre-built.
