Round two for appliance replacement with my parents but this time it won't be at sears. My mom wants to get a new dishwasher so I told her to look at the BOSCH with the water softeners.

What hardware/appliance stores don't suck these days? Lowes?

The retailers don't actually make appliances, so the models are all the same. It's more about shopping around for the best price/warranty. Also, Lowes doesn't carry replacement parts, but they have an online store and it pretty good if you have a part number.

 

I'm aware but they want to go in a place and see it in person then have the place install it. (they are old)

 

All the major retailers do installs and they all charge for it. If they are capable of removing the old one on their own, they don't need to pay extra for that. Those places charge like $25 for disposing of the old appliance.

Unless they go to a local place, Lowes or Home Depot will be about the same.
