12/09 - SURPRISE Sunday!

Could of been 61+ but no I'm not pissed off

 

So last night as I was still recovering from the fake flu the shot gave me I decided to GrubHub some Chinese food. Ordered two dishes, rice, chow mein and some potstickers. Came to just under $60 including tax, delivery and whatever markup there is on that...expensive but eh, worth it to not cook or leave the house.

Showed up 30 mins later, steaming hot. Each dish was in an ENTREE sized Styrofoam square carton. Not a normal Chinese food carton that I was expecting. MOUNDED up, so when you opened it the rice was the shape of the domed top and the Kung Pao leaked sauce everywhere.

We will be eating it for days.

A chunk of that was tax, delivery and tip (I forgot to say that included tip). More than I spend when we go to, say, Panda Express, but I knew delivery would be more.

I just wasn't expecting literal mounds of food. I cannot Grinch. I totally got my money's worth. It will feed both of us at least 3 times and we'll probably end up throwing some away. For which I will feel totally guilty.

two old guys sitting at an abondoned house thought i was a younger girl few days back ad invited to a place about 30 miles away, assumed i was either too young to drive or something and offer me a ride to help them "with their attic"
it was quite funny since both men were weasly and i'd ruin both of em and once i told them me name (a male name) the smaller one started yelling at the chubby one...it was odd, hope they don't get someone

 

Spoiler: He is everywhere. He is all things. He even changes outfits.

I would like to point out that he "made" a christmas sweater by cutting out one of my wrapping paper santas and putting it on his shirt. At least he was festive, unlike some chuckleheads!
