    If I had to guess it's because "hardcore" gamers have a negative reaction to anything phone game related because those are all "casual" and most of the time riddled with more microtransactions than your average Nexon game. Also, something about the company making the game being terrible or other. I've never played Diablo, though, so I'm mostly talking out of my ass.

    There are too many buttons for Diablo to work as a mobile game, there's also the fact that the shear GPU power necessary to make it better than Diablo 3 is not available in 95% of phones. Basically they went "we realize now that mobile games are the future... because microtransactions... so mobile here we come FUCK THE FANS!"
