I don't know actually. I think so. I usually only work from the worker queue if hamming a batch, and I rarely keep surveys queued for long.
If you opened the hit from your queue, mturk will open the oldest hit it your queue (accepted first) by default.
Turkmaster is kinda a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none, and it's pretty old. It works, but people have come up with a variety of newer scripts...
