i dont think i ever played the EA one. i loved eve, then i got sucked into elite dangerous and i never looked back
i didn't think of the gold route. i got burnt out on paying for subs with ingame currency when i played the shit out of eve online

i just play lotro. i can pop in and out, farm outside of my hobbit hole, or just go have fun.
