I bought Odyssey and BOTW with my switch...3 years later I can still say those are probably the best 2 games on the system.

With kids that age I think I'd just buy everything digitally then there are no carts to lose.
The NFL one doesn't even ask for a card so you won't get hit with some shitty renewel charge if you forget.
