i quit looking once specifically because i saw "low calorie buffalo wings" were "buffalo cauliflower bites"... while i'm sure it's delicious, it's not fucking chicken wings.

 

Yea, I usually get in about 500-600 cal worth of elliptical exercise every day.

The recommendation is for me to have like 1600ish/day to lose 2 lbs a week, but well, i'm an overachiever. I get discouraged if i'm not averaging more like 10lb-ish/month at least.

Problem is, I really really like food and reasonable portions make me feel like I still want to go in the kitchen and eat EVERYTHING.

Just sticking my head in to ask: did the heather hit completely break for anyone else? two seconds into the game it gave me the completion screen and survey immediately

 

OK. I've been prepping meals for my wife. Shes trying to get some weight off and tone back after our last child was born. We've been doing about 1500ish cal for her so similar.

We use ground turkey instead of beef. Beans, rice, lots of veggies. We like Mexican so doing pesole's and soups. Also lots of fish, olives in the Mediterranean style for lots of flavor without being super fattening. That way you feel fuller and more satisfied.

Also making sure we drink plenty of water. It helps you process everything and keeps your stomach full. If you have trouble downing 64-128oz of water a day add some lemon juice or sugar free flavorings to it. makes it so much easier.
