Assuming they copy and pasted from something official, it should be very easy to avoid a 1099. 199 transfers gives you almost 4 a week. I have 30 transfers a year at the most.

I remember their timer being pretty accurate...without going into content too much, you have to watch something so there's no real way to speed it up. I remember it was worth it as well.

I believe Amazon can choose to issue the forms to anyone who got money from Amazon Payments, the requirements are just who they have to send them to.

edit: Really they're reporting people's income to the IRS so they don't omit it on their return.

 

Maybe. I'm just pointing out that their docs and reps are not 100% representative of their actions.
