Phew! We are safe.

Got an Emergency Alert that busted into my tee vee watching with a tornado warning.

That doesn't happen much in my area of CA. It said to avoid all "avoid windows". I have a 1300 sq ft house with 14 windows in it, one in my living room is about 4 windows wide and another 2, so basically the equivalent of 18 windows. In 1300 sq ft. There is, LITERALLY, no place to go in my house that does not have a window. Even the hallway has one. The laundry room has two!

WOW! I NEVER THOUGHT OF JUST NOT FALLING IN MY LIFE! I USUALLY JUST FALL FOR FUN, YA KNOW?!

I felt like it wasn't that bad for a few days and then I woke up doing the turtle stuck on his back dance. So, that's annoying. Ah well, you aren't trying hard enough if you've never nearly ko-ed yourself summiting the side of a mountain that the Sierra Club rated, "Strenuous," and "dangerous." I live to climb another day! After a week of rest and icing/heating ALL THE THINGS!

I later found out someone legit did break their back there recently (dirtbiker who lost traction on the loose rocks), so all things considered, this is barely a flesh wound!
