    The only reason to run two catchers would be if you want to run two different profiles with different HITs (i.e., a weekday set and a weekend set, or a "HITs for watching TV set" and a "HITs for serious moneymaking" set, etc.).

    There's no actual performance benefit from running two catchers on the same account, because PREs are account-based rather than browser, computer, or IP based.

    Err... it's actually why it has groups.

    But the tabs and groups are both clunky, so creating different browser profiles with different settings is basically just... better.

    I don't really use PC regularly anymore except to test interface code, since I've been working with my own tools lately.

    But my "backburner" instance of PC had super-slow cycle timers (the arbitrary 8000ms maximum), and then my "hot plate" instance had regular ones. Along with my "draggable" script, I'd drag high-competition/high-priority HITs to the hot plate, and low-competition/low-priority to the backburner.

    I'm actually putting together a tool that follows this "high/low priority" dual-cycler paradigm inherently right now.
