well, folks, I'm actually going to leave the house today. My husband (better known as the chauffeur) should be home soon gotta run some errands, buy food and other frivolous things save me a good batch for this evening.

 

Yeah, I only had to use it for 2/4 so I just shrugged it off. I'll feel particularly accomplished if I manage my first Joe Lo reject.

Just to clarify-- it has worked for you in the past without a rejection?

 

Editing JS is fine, but his HIT in particular submits the data to an application totally off mTurks platform. I imagine he uses that to parse for PWS. That script will successfully submit your votes to his mTurk requester dashboard.. but given that he's submitting it to a website off platform while you're doing the HIT my guess is that does him no good to force-submit to his requester account.

Then he probably doesn't ever check the data.. which isn't surprising since PWS was the same way LOL. Actually PWS was worse, but given the changes they made (and then the creation of this J-Lo account) I guess every few months they get tired of crappy data and fail miserably to fix their systems lol.

To clarify, though, if you use that force submit script on his HITs you aren't submitting data to his off-platform application, as the error message only shows when the votes fail to transmit and/or a success ping doesn't get back to you. You are successfully submitting the data to mTurk though, and he could conceivably retrieve it from there.

I haven't ever edited Joe's hits before as they looked like he wouldn't get the data if I tried with my limited knowledge to fix them.
