@ChrisTurk ... Ok so now I've been brow beaten into using live mode lol. When I reply to a message it drags me down to quick reply box and then stays there after replying. How do I get back to where I left off? Depending on how far behind I am I could be scrolling for days trying to find my place.

 

The hearing test is the easiest part. If you didn't do well on that, you would not do well in the rest of it. I am musically inclined and have to concentrate pretty hard to hear the tasks. I also have expensive headphones and it's still somewhat difficult.

Could be your headphones. I've done like 50 hits for them and never failed the test. I did a hit a couple of weeks ago using my shitty $5 earbuds and failed it.

Whatever they use to handle audio is not super robust on chrome. I have to switch to Firefox more often than not to get the thing running. I'm p. sure the other guy is in the same way.

I agree, however, you have to have live update on to get real time desktop notifications on hits.

 

I've worked hard on learning to force myself to manually refresh every once in a while. That way if I want to jump down to post a reply, I don't have to go back up through 15 pages worth of stuff. For example, I caught up now, I'll post this, then manually refresh it and go to the most recent page/post.

 

The way I do it is by hitting the + Quote button, it'll save the post you want to reply to in a "queue" of sorts, then continue catching up with the thread (and hitting that button for all the posts you want to reply to). When you're at the bottom w/ the reply box, just hit "Insert Quotes" and a list of all the posts you just HIT will come up, remove the ones you no longer want to reply to (if any), hit insert, and then type up your replies to everyone complaining about broken stuff that you have no intentions to fix so you label them as "features"

Wait.. what?

 

Hmm, maybe I'll try FF and different headphones next time. I know it's not my ears.
