Yeah I am over that...looking for something more...don't get me wrong booty calls are good when its what both people agree on but I am looking for more now

 

So the worker site is going to be the full version(are we still in beta?) at some point? I just remember seeing a couple others mention the grayed out boxes when they were qualled and didnt know if it was ever figured out. Oh well, at least it lets us accept the HITs even though it appears like we cant.

Easy. Superficial. Seems honest though. Of course, I'm comparing it to online dating 14ish years ago, so...

There's a surprising amount of dudes who are all like, oh, not here for hookups. But at least there are people who are up front about it if that's what they want.

It probably all depends on your location and how many decent singles are in your area. I've matched and talked to 13 pretty dudes with potential in like 2 hours? So better than a night at the bar at least.

 

Button in the HIT doesn't open anything for me. =/

 

You can pretty well bank on at least 40% of those are using reverse psychology lol.

@ChrisTurk I've noticed several times this morning when I hit reply it's entering double quote tags. One for the real quote and one that's empty. Just fyi.

My girlfriend and I met each other on Match. The online dating experience is way different for men than women (from a hetero standpoint). That being said, a site that is free has a much lower quality of people on it than the sites that require payment. YMMV, of course, but the free sites were terrible for me. It wasn't until I started using paid dating sites that I started have any degree of luck.

 

Haha, I assume everyone is a lying liarface, so 40% sounds super reasonable.

 

I had about the same experience on Match as POF and even ran across a lot of the same folks. And of course how I realized Matt was back in town LOL.

Saying you're not up for hookups is common to come across on online dating, but there were plenty of times a guy definitely did only want that and knows acting like he wants to seriously date is better for getting quality ladies in bed. To the point of a guy ghosting me and then ASKING ME OUT 2 YEARS LATER FORGETTING WHO I WAS! When he figured out who I was he still tried to get me out again, yeah nope!

I didn't bother putting what I was looking for, but I'm up for pretty much anything. I basically compare it to walking into a bar. I don't go in looking for a husband, just a good time, but you never know.

 

Ugh, I don't know how y'all do online dating. I'm having enough trouble even thinking about doing it again and have been going through old high school flames to see if anyone isn't chained down yet :/

I may have accidentally scheduled a date (catching up and having drinks) for next wednesday w/ an old buddy. Yay?
