I'm on the ketogenic diet (under 20 carbs a day) and the pancake mixes haunted me.

Ugh... did that for over a year. Awful awful awful lol. Never felt so deprived in my life. And one tiny cheat would take a herculean effort to bounce back from. Lost almost 50 pounds. Finally gave it up. Put it all back on in less than 4 months. Never again lol.

 

Right now it's for cutting fat. I went from 230-176 with it last year between February and July. I'm up to 190 right now but I've been doing a lot of lifting and I'm really close to being able to see my abs for the first time in my life so cutting carbs this month before my trip to europe.
I really do recommend it, though. And the food you can make is delicious if you're not lazy or on a super tight budget. I actually spend less money on food when I'm on Keto because I eat significantly less food.

 

How did you first learn about it? Do you have a book/blog you've sworn by, or a specific program? I've realistically speaking have about 150 lbs to loose...

 

I never had any issues with my cheat days but I also do a lot of cardio and I guess that helps get the carbs out of your system and back into ketosis.

 

Seriously though cookies and hugs for you people that can stick to a diet because I surely can't
