That's one of the problems with living in wet climates. You spray something and it never dries into the ground/vegetation/walkway, so you are stuck in a cycle of dosing everything in chemicals.

I would love to have any type of yard but at least my 100 sqft of concrete doesn't need any care.

 

That happened at my parents house growing up. There is a ditch behind the house and the guy at the end of the street planted some and it got into the ditch and just used that spread. I remember having chop that shit back with my skateboard when we'd cut through there. It's like really tall weeds.

Hey, we have a ditch at the back of our house too. I remember as a kid being able to just hop across it to go play in the next field over that was kept empty, but now we can't even do that and have to go the long way around. You have to actually dig up the rhizomes to fully remove that shit, and since it's been like 20 years at this point that'd require digging up multiple people's backyards.
