Mmmm that's really only true for people who care about maxing things. As long as it's playable and looks decent I have no need or desire for 4k level stats. My very midrange setup has no troubles with it.

I use the very average multisystem emulator RetroArch for mine. I've never had an issue playing anything with it. In fact I use that same one for nearly everything up through ps1.

 

True, but it's a primary thought for most Nintendo players.

Actually I think it's tied more to the player than the console. I love Nintendo's consoles but not a big multiplayer type. If I want multiplayer i'll pick up an MMO, otherwise I'd almost always prefer single player.

 

Local multiplayer. That's a big reason why Nintendo is so much fun.

 

Do any of you have a good portable SNES player? I bought one a few years ago and the games don't always start up properly when I turn it on. Don't even know where it is right now, but if I saw a picture, I could ID it.

Local multiplayer is built into every emulator I have... Well maybe not CEMU but honestly I just don't know. i haven't messed with it in several updates and never tried multiplayer before that.

 

You mean a device that is made to be an emulator? Old PSPs actually are good on the go emulators if I recall correctly after you install an emulator

cemu has it as well... I think

 

Do you have a smartphone? That's probably the easiest way.

 

You can do that.. but then you need to have a gamepad as well or use shitty onscreen controls.

Yea I played a friend of mines that had one of those bluetooth controllers that flips open and holds the phone. It was a pretty nice setup. I just never bothered because I almost never use my phone for anything other than a phone unless i'm at home, and I have much better options for gaming there.

I appreciate why you guys like emulators. But for me the jankiness isn't worth it. I'll fork over 300 for the console. You can't tell me that emulators will provide a full on experience online or local without glitches and hiccups. Emulators are to Video Games as Kodi is to Cable. They work, just not perfectly. But it's all a preference. I respect your preferences, guys.

 

But the emulators run better then native unless it is a very recent development.
