But but~ :emoji_sob: Qwerty was designed specifically to slow down secretaries that typed too quickly for mechanical typewriters. I'll never end up doing it anyway. It's just so frustrating early on.

I'll be real.. my bottleneck on speed for typing is how fast I think of what to type and not the typing itself. Perhaps that isn't the bottleneck for you.. but I don't know if you really need to be doing >100WPM for stuff anyways.

If Stanley was still pretending to be alive this is where you'd end up in a speed racer challenge where I crush everyone and leave without saying a word.

Yeah, same here.. I used to work in a call center making relay calls for the deaf and hard of hearing. We had typing speed tests (from spoken word) every 3 months and I broke 100 WPM (but not by much) by the end of my time there. Got a friend hired there and he topped out at 117. The minimum to work there was 45 WPM...

Oh man.. I remember some butthurt from him with a couple of those challenges.

I was confused at first because I thought you were trying to learn a piece by the composer Dvorak and was confused what that had to do with keyboards. :emoji_laughing:

I've had a few jobs in publishing/marketing/whatever where they wanted me to type 95 wpm+ in case I was typing dictations on the fly, and would test you repeatedly. It blooooows chunks.

I've only seen glimpses of the Goat who is frolicing for a couple days and he may honestly never be caught. You may not punch him! Unless you want to deal with a really pissed off farm wifey.

Creative writing to boot.. there really and truly isn't a pay grade where I'd actually like doing them.. just ones I'd suffer through haha.
