The upgrade cycle is endless, found out my new processor is only 5% faster than my current one so now I gotta return it and buy a much better processor and then a higher capacity ssd and and keyboard/mouse. Guess it's time to get my turk on lol

 

Is it OC or what? Most CPU are tiered as a power/cost, but still run about the same under standard settings.
Also no need to get a higher capacity SSD... you can raid 0 your SSD to a basic HDD for nearly the same effect.

Right now I have this http://www.microcenter.com/product/459847/slimline_410-017c_desktop_computer_refurbished. I got an rx480 so I figured I'd build a gaming pc based around the Pentium G4560 that would have a non-obsolete socket and ddr4 ram. I took the mobo out the hp and popped the rx480 in and it's running pretty good. I looked at the benchmarks and the only advantage would be the ddr4 and socket if I go with the pentium. That's not enough of a boost to excite me so now I gotta get the 7600k.

That raid thing is interesting I'll have to research it since I have about 2.5tb of spinning disks knocking about.
