Got around to console testing MTS suite to see why it's breaking for me.

On my main machine console log via f12 shows absolutely nothing and works as expected.

However, on my laptop which runs windows xp 32 bit. Which has worked with MTS since it went mainstream here on turkerhub, I get an error saying.

hit_finder.js:536 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token *

No buttons in the interface is working, checkmarks on options like enable to and qualified doesn't save.

I did multiple test runs to an older version and it works fine. Updated it and I get rekt.

 

These pins always seem to be broken half the time, and you can't do any tasks the other half of the time.

I can bug test further, is there a way to turn on verbose logging so I can see what happens each time I click a button?

To be clear, MTS suite has worked fine for month plus now. It only started to fail on me today.

 

Browser version is the issue. Exponentiation operators (the **) are only available in chrome 52+

 

so I should stick with your old version right?

 

That or update your browser. MTS will use new javascript stuff when available (but not breaking compatibility with the current Chrome release version), so keeping somewhat updated versions for Chrome (or FF when they get of their asses) will be required for newer MTS releases.

I see, alright I'll just use the old MTS since updating the browser would require updating the whole operating system due to google dropping support for xp, which I have no plans on doing.
