I've yet to ever have a puppy. Dogs, yes. I raised all the kittens from infancy, but I've never had a puppy. I begged for a puppy as a kid and repeatedly was given big boxes with holes that my dad would insist I open first.....it was always a stuffed dog, occasionally one of those robot ones that flipped. This became such a popular thing in my house my dad had other people also give me fake puppy gifts. Eventually, I started to think someone couldn't possibly trick me this many times because it would just be cruel....there was never a puppy.

To say that I want a puppy is an understatement. I'm a huge sucker for a sad dog though, so every time I've tried to get a puppy I just take home an unwanted shelter dog. Luckily, we live on a farm and Matt says we can get another dog because I freak out every time I see a puppy. I will cry like a Grinch baby if we get this little fluffy dude next month.

On a different note: NIC cards just arrived!!! Sunday is pfsense day. Or at least the beginning of pfsense.....

Oh and watch that DDWRT upgrade. When I installed that on a Linksys WRT3200 it ended up have WIFI shutdown issues. Something about the firmware for the wifi chipset being messed up. I think your 'new' router is a descendant of the WRT3200 so something to be aware of. I had to go back to stock firmware to keep the wifi running.
