    I started out owing close to 4 grand federal and was able to get that close to even between paying some in federal and a refund from SC due to maxing out an IRA for both of us.

    Usually not paying taxes and beating the system would make me happy, but this time I just felt guilty because I definitely know how it is when you don't have the savings and cash flow to be able to move money around like that. Of course all frivolous spending just came to a screeching halt.
