    Yep, that's a real phone. No chips, no radio, no answering machine. When you left home and came back later, you could not tell (nor did you care) if someone had tried to call you. :ay:

    Back when I worked at Toysrus in college, I facepalmed that there were smartphone baby toys on the shelves instead of that old classic creepy clown-looking one with the dial and creepy eyes.

    Billy, when I was your age, if we wanted to send a message to someone, we had to get on that teleograph machine and tap our message in morse code. Then we had to wait for it to be transcribed by someone, sent to the right person and wait for a response. We didn't have this fangled voice wire you kids have now.
    And to get to the teleograph office, we had to walk downhill, both ways, wearing only one shoe, in the 2 feet snow, during the heat wave while being chased by crocodiles in the middle of Arizona.
