anyone here complete the "Record short video clips of your face while speaking specific words (~1.4 hours)" hit? i seem to only be able to get through about 5 minutes of recordings before i get a repeated "your recording has corrupted!" message...would rather not have to return it but was wondering if anyone else had the same issue and fixed it somehow ;___;

 

So.. Someone sent me a screenshot of an Eric Sites validation HIT where the person spammed turkerhub / random usernames from here.. I reached out to Sites to apologize and let him know we're mostly good folks and whatnot.. idk why but his reply just cracked me up:

That's a lot of HITs, get it girl! The qual is for LESS than or equal to 10,000. You're too awesome to take it.

 

Yeah I did that without any issues outside of not knowing how to say one of the Korean names lol. Send the requester a message the requester if you are having issues.

 

Very nonchalant. I don't usually get formal replies, but they usually put more effort than that.

Sometimes I question how dumb people can truly be. There is a forum for RC enthusiasts and they are currently posting about sneaking into parts of the airport they shouldn't be cause they are mad we won't let them....ya know, attached to their names and pictures of themselves. I mean, gee, it's not like it's a public and well known forum that airport employees might be perusing.

 

My response would have been "I didn't ask you what time is it, I asked if you want a margarita"

 

He probably realizes that TH workers are the best and most professional. Honestly, I would think bad workers would be ran right on out of here! We are all here to help each other.

 

Hahahaha.. yupp this is pretty much the voice I read the email in. Dude probably is just sending at least a line of reply to everyone who messaged him.. which I imagine is a boatload of people.
