    HEVC is really good at the compression without sacrificing video quality. A little under 3 hour long movie in 1080p is just under 2gb.

    Have people been using bots to get through surveys somehow? I've been seeing more and more surveys with captchas instead of only attention checks.

    If only requesters got an annoying popup that said:

    "Masters workers yield the same quality of results as workers with 99% approved hits or greater. Oh also, if you use the "greater than 99% approved HITs qualification" then even people with even only one rejection cannot do them because Amazon truncates approval percentages. Use the "not less than 99% approved HITs" qualification instead. Oh also, the really expensive Amazon qualifications don't work properly such that a person who had the "Female" qualification will have it randomly removed for no known reason, which excludes a portion of the workforce you're paying a premium to access. Also, blocks are bullshit, use exclusion qualifications. Enjoy Mturk. :emoji_upside_down:"

    Ah I see it is someone who has not actually done video encoding.

    No HEVC is not ready yet. It doesn't have all the filters that a good encoder would use and doesn't end up actually being smaller for the same file size.

    And lol no a 1080p movie at 2GB with HEVC (h.265) looks like garbage.

    Well all the names I said are actually still in use. Wes Hildebrandt for example was used around 3 months ago or some shit once and then never again.

    All of the ones from the past week have been the BLX panda, but before that they haven't really been around since last September so its really not worth storing the panda for anything. Definitely don't waste page requests on them if they haven't popped on w/e notifier you use.
