10 hours later, and I have working power steering. Could have shaved off two hours if I hadn't been trying to bleed it, well, completely wrong. Anyway, now I need a new battery (I knew this was coming), so a quick jump start should get me to LAPS tomorrow to sort that out. Managed $21 while wrenching, shopping, and listening to goofy podcasts.

@Randomacts you'll be pleased to know (maybe?) that I picked up a refurbished 320GB SATA 2 WD drive for $20. I had no idea I was moving THAT slow. Ooo, I should do a PFA to see if that's any better.

That's nice. It did do a weird thing with repeating the same route several times in a row for no reason I could see, but I thought the thing was pretty easy. I guess my years of dungeon delving and scrounging up every last piece of loot from every path finally paid off.

Great catch! Funny thing, he emailed me to clarify something I wrote, I wonder why he didn't mass message this. Guess that's why you're "moderately" awesome.

I had an odd level myself, and I thought a few of the paths open were different, but it definitely took longer than advertised, so this was much appreciated.

 

It didn't and I'm not going to dig that back up as it was removed for a reason.

SSD or HDD? If it is a full sized HDD that wasn't a good deal at all. New HDDs sell for around $30 per 1TB. If it is an SSD then you got a really old one because SATA II in really old and would bottleneck most SSDs.

It was more a comment directed at Wimplo as I think that she was the one that dealt with it but meh w/e I'll stop bringing up stuff that was supposed to be purged from the forums.
