Each one asked a single in-iframe personal opinion question (e.g. "what's your favorite food"), some very badly worded (looked like non-native English), and had a box for you to type your answer in and a box for the 'source' (which made no sense for any of the kinds of questions that were in the batch, seemed to be intended for factual trivia-type questions). Some people on reddit said they left the source box blank, and others put something like 'me' in it.

The HIT content was hosted on the generic mturkcontent.com server, and had an extremely basic layout, with nothing to confirm the display name's claim of being an Amazon-operated requester account. (Perhaps it is some weird badly-planned project from Amazon, but there have been a few previous instances of scammy requesters pretending to be Amazon in their display names; Amazon performs no validation of these names.)

 

A case where the saying, a pot calling the kettle black - could be a compliment.
