^ Dude's work ethic is off the charts insane and deserves all the praise he gets. It might be 'just a forum' to chat and share, but I can only imagine the behind-the-scenes stuff is a job unto itself. He works hard to keep tensions low, requesters coming to us first, not to mention providing us with new toys and community fun so things don't get stale (edit: that one should actually come first). I try really hard to maintain the night/day attitude versus MTG too, but when that old cynicism kicks in it makes me feel really bad after I think about how hard he works to keep this place not burning down. We're all here competing for pennies. The circumstances that bring us to the internet to make an income means we're all pretty unique in our own ways and probably face(d) some real life struggles in one way or another. We have huge age gaps, geographic and social differences, and a lot of general differences overall. I bet it's really hard to not only keep everything copacetic and not at each other's throats, but actually kinda liking each other. That whole 'promoting a community' thing is legit and he's good at it. Hopefully he gets just as much love and respect irl as he does here because he deserves it for sure.
