    Anyone do this annotate hands hit? The examples of right and wrong confuse me. They don't follow the rules of the tutorial. :emoji_thinking:

    The one I had a few months ago didn't follow the tutorial at all. iirc, the hand position I got was way different than the directions... it was difficult to make the boxes as tight as they want while also including the thumb, and it didn't say if they wanted the thumb or not. I just kind of winged it with what felt right for each picture and didn't have a problem with it approving. :dunno:

    That is one thing I'm still getting used to as a new turker, is how shockingly bad and unnecessarily complicated instructions often are.
    That or I'm just dumb.

    The latter is probably more accurate.

    Eventually you get the same base tasks enough times that the Req who happened to have some half decent instructions 6mo ago helps you through it.

    "Decision making" - "play a game w/ another turker" - "now or 6 mo" etc etc all have some convoluted & ridiculous stinker instructions out there, but you learn the base tasks then don't need them other than looking for individual quirks so the researcher can justify spending $5k on something that's been done 800 times already lol
