I know, but I gave him an alternative to look at. Many of the "readers" will open the pdf files up and you can read the pages, but sometimes I have wanted the reader to actually read to me vocally. Many of those I have seen in the past had to be paid for so that feature can be used.... FWIW does Kindle still have it's PC version that reads .rdr, .pdf, and kindle files out loud? I've not kept up with the Kindle ...
