@laby are the MindSpark HITs even worth it if it's taking that long? I had them on a panda yesterday but might not bother with them anymore.

Yeah it looks like Microsoft's servers should know that your machine assuming that you had a legit copy of windows to start with. (While I don't see why they would... if your machine had a pirated version of windows from the shop it obviously wouldn't reactivate)

On a side note windows 10 without an activation is basically fully featured besides the desktop background and the watermark or something like that so you can deal with it when you have time.

Have you given MTS a try? it's a good all in one tool for what you are hoping to accomplish.

If you are attached to Hitscraper, it still works, but other scripts have surpassed it's capabilities, or at least are more user-friendly.

Actual conversation that just took place:

Hubby: There's this new war movie, Dunkirk, we should watch it.
    Me: Uh huh. *not listening*
Hubby: It's directed by Christopher Nolan.
    Me: Uh huh. *not listening*
Hubby: It's got Tom Hardy in it.
Me: *perks up* We should go see it!

Matt wants to see that too. We saw the trailer before Guardians and he got all excited, especially when he saw planes.

I mean, it looks good aside from Tom Hardy. Yep. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe it's just me but I'm not a big fan of Tom Hardy's acting. But I suspect that's not what you guys are interested in.

I like the work although if it's worth it monetarily I'm not sure. I expect I had a couple more hours work in front of me so it probably would have worked out to about $7-10 an hour. The ridiculously short timer was super stressful so even if I hadn't gotten the rejection I don't think I would have done it again. Lot's of people love them though so ymmv. Maybe you can try the shorter ones if you're unsure.

It from the one yesterday where you watched a movie trailer and at the end instead of a code was a blank white page.

I'll have to disagree with you there and say that I actually started to like him based off his acting. I thought he played Bane really well in the The Dark Knight Rises. And I didn't know who he was at the time. I've seen a lot of his work and think he is a good actor. I didn't get the hots for him til I saw him in the The Drop. Him holding a pit bull puppy. :ba:

But not everybody likes what I like. It's cool. :D

I do actually use hitcatcher from MTS however, I was still using Hitscraper because it uses the Hit database to tell me when I've already done a hit, which I tend to need since sometimes I don't remember if I did a particular survey or not.

Honestly I hardly pay attention to that stuff these days and it really isn't an issue. A lot of requesters use exclude quals ect once you have done something.
