the tldr is that VRAPI was like "how can we get more information out of you?" and 90% of the workers are like "what if we do more work for less money?" i eventually said that that's not how mturk works, then lefty came in to drive the point home that people are literally trying to shove their own money into other people's pockets while also letting VRAPI rob them while they thank them for it.

I'm all about workers helping workers, idgaf. But jesus christ people have SOME self respect for yourself and recognize this problem is ENTIRELY self-created by a shit company w/ shit data collection process and ABSOLUTELY NO quality controls WHATSOEVER.

They nuked the prices on the HITs as quickly & as often as they could, let absolute garbage go through to their clients, and now that the clients are holding them accountable they're YET AGAIN trying to pass it off to the workers.. WTF
