Please note this is really, really old. It still works and I use it daily and have had no reason to revisit it, but it's just stupidly bad. I was trying to prove a couple points at the time, all of which are uninteresting now.

Also, it uses jquery. In a bad way. Please don't let that discourage you. Just use this as an example of all the things you shouldn't do.
