    Haha. I know i know. When I'm at home, the notifications on this forum work super well and notifier is obsolete. But when I'm at work, I have to keep one of my screens on the forum to get updates regardless of the settings I put. crazy dumb, but we legit work on a firefox version that was released a few years ago "for security reasons."

    I'm actually curious if i would be able to... I work for a very large bank, so I doubt VPN'ing would work since security is always on lockdown... But it might be worth a try. Half the websites i need for my job dont work due to our firewalls. lol.

    There are a handful of vulns that those browsers likely have that would give someone full access to the computer with just a driveby.

    Oh large bank yeah that explains the lack of real security and just security theater. Remote desktop might be a decent option but you would have to find something that isn't blocked.

    I'm in a similar situation but we also have general wifi that isn't locked down so I can take my personal laptop and turk with it.

    Whats funny is in Firefox, I can install extensions, but I can't remove them since they disabled the Extensions Tab in settings. Super dumb. I can't add anything to Chrome. It took some finagling to get scripts to work period on firefox. Ill have to do some research into the remote desktop options this evening. Would be nice, however my desktop at home is a power hungry monster, so what I make here might not offset the massive electricity bill I'll have each month. Lol.

    We have Wifi, but its up on the 12th floor(im on 5), so I wouldnt have access to it. And my laptop is only a single screen. Once you turk on 3 screens... You never go back to a single screen.

    And its frowned upon to have a laptop at my desk, so I couldnt turk on my hotspot. :/
