    It's a little adapter that came w/ the phone like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G00TWRK/?tag=thtv02-20. It connects to the usb c port on the phone and then I plug a flash drive directly into it. If I can't figure out a solution I can always connect it to my laptop but this is super convenient(I then put the flashdrive into the tv to watch the "file").

    EDIT: The adapter works good for everything else. I use it to hook up an xbox 360 controller and transfer files regularly

    I know what OTG is... it still could be a bad cable. You can just transfer shit over through airdroid though

    I'll try my other one(one from my old s7) to see if it's a bad one. The only thing with airdroid is that I'm trying to avoid taking out my laptop for it.
