    Holy shit. That's pretty impressive. We have a hammer at work with a label on it "Hard Reset" I like to think it's intended to be used on end users more than their technology. :emoji_smiling_imp:

    The ant story came out in slow waves as I was talking to her.

    First the key "popped off". Then she was cleaning it. Then she was cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner. Then she was cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner because there were ants in it.

    ProTip: If you tell dell that you're an IT guy and you've got one key on the keyboard that doesn't work, not even in the bios, and no sir, nobody spilled anything, they'll just ship you a keyboard. They don't ask for the old one back.

    Oh that's how the stories always come out. It's like pulling teeth to get the truth sometimes. And I'm like just tell me for God's sake so I can help you and get back to turking. I don't care what dumbass thing you did. I promise I'm not going to go post it on /r/talesfromtechsupport... promise.

    And yeah, Dell sends out so much free stuff if the warranty is still good. Guess that's why increasing specs on custom builds from them is so outrageous, gotta pay for all the freebies!
