    I got a reject from a HIT yesterday for "I'm sorry, but the data collected indicates you did not listen to the audio for sufficient time to complete the task properly"

    I emailed them and told him I was confused and I take my work on mTurk seriously and got back "We've checked the survey data and see your submission. Thanks for the explanation and your participation. You should see a payment by the end of the day."

    Seems to me like they just rejected people and then fixed it when they get called out.
